Happy Australia Day to Aussies and ex-pat Aussies everywhere. Thanks for visiting me as part of this great book-blogging frenzy!
This year, Australia Day is a Monday and I’ll be enjoying a long weekend. I’ve had the last two weeks on leave from work and I’ve had in-laws visiting, which has been great fun for my two boys. They haven’t seen their grandparents for a while.
I’m hoping the weather is warm and my Australia Day might include a trip to the beach and hopefully, some writing!
I’ve been working feverishly on revisions for my fourth complete novel, called So Far Into You, and sent them back to my Escape Publishing editor last week. This means I’m now in that nail-biting “waiting” time (hate this stage), to see if she likes the way I’ve reworked it.
In April, I’ll have my previously self-pubbed, now picked up by Escape, coastal reunion romance called Fairway To Heaven coming out in e-book stores. You can read more about Fairway (including a Chapter 1 excerpt) if you visit the My Books tab on this site.
It’s been a busy year since I was part of Shelleyrae’s BookdOut blog in 2014. I hope the year ahead is a great one for you and your family.
To celebrate Australia Day, I’m offering every visitor who emails me at lilymalone@mail.com an e-copy of my novella The Goodbye Ride. (Sorry – Kindle only)
And for the chance to win something extra:
a) If you like your romance a little steamy (okay, a lot steamy) I’ll gift an e-copy of Rhyll Biest’s Unrestrained. Rhyll is an Aussie author I love, and this was my favourite e-book of 2014 about Aussie girl Holly and German stonemason, Stein.
b) If you like your romance sensual, I’ll gift an e-copy of Perth author Jennie Jones’ new book, The House On The Bottom Of The Hill from Jennie’s bestselling Swallows’ Fall series set in a fictional small town in the snowy mountains.
c) If you like your romance with a touch of suspense, I’ll gift an e-copy of Perth author Juanita Kees ARRA nominated finalist, Under Cover Of Dark. Set in Perth, this is part of Juanita’s Tag Raiders series – showing Perth’s darker side.
Please tell me in the comments if you’re up for steamy, sensual or suspense, and why you’d enjoy the above book of your choice. I’ll contact the winners on Tuesday January 27.
Thanks for visiting! Remember to email me lilymalone@mail.com for your copy of The Goodbye Ride!
